It’s that time of the year again! The 38th annual NANOS meeting will be held on February 11-16 at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort and Spa, San Antonio, Texas.
Some important deadlines are:
The American College of Ophthalmic Surgery is holding their annual symposium from July 28 – 31, this is followed by the International Congress on Surface Ablation, Femto-Lasers, & Cross-Linking from July 31 – August 1, 2011. Both meetings will be held at the St. Regis Hotel in Dear Valley, Utah.
This is an early reminder for the annual AAO 2011 meeting to be held in Orlando from october 22-25.
For those who are interested the ‘green’ journal of neurology is available as an app for the ipad!
The June issue of JNO is out. As usual there are many interesting topics. Check out the state of the art review on retinal prosthesis. Click on the link below to go to their website.
I would like to suggest a good N-O book: The Neuro-Ophthalmology Survival Guide. I think its a very good book (for residents) that explains how to evaluate N-O patients. Keep in mind though there’s not much theory, anatomy or patho-physiology in it .
